[United States holiday] 9/11 Memorial + Wall Street

This post begins with my trip down to the 9/11 Memorial, as well as famous Wall Street, in New York City.

Baby insisted on going to the 9/11 Memorial, near the One World Trade Center. He warned me that it would be a solemn affair, and to brace myself for a very sombre atmosphere. As everyone knows, the 9/11 terrorist attacks on Manhattan resulted in the destruction of the Twin Towers that left more than 2900 victims dead. We went to pay our respects to the victims of this tragedy.

To get there, just take the E-LINE bound subway to the World Trade Center (WTC).

The 9/11 Memorial at WTC, in NYC is to honor and remember the victims of the September 11 attacks.

It was an experience that I will never forget, as I saw first-hand the site of where this tragic event unfolded and changed the world forever.

This is a place one should try not to miss visiting in NYC, as it is a eye-opening experience at this tribute, and it might even bring you to tears.

After we were done with the 9/11 Memorial, we walked down to Wall Street, where the New York Stock Exchange (world's largest stock exchange) is located.

I took a photo with the 3-ton bronze sculpture of the Charging Bull located in Wall Street, which symbolizes the New York Financial Industry.

Anchored by Wall Street, New York City has been called both the most economically powerful city and leading Financial Center of the world.

We spotted the statue of George Washington, the First President of the United States at Federal Hall, Wall Street.

I end my post at Sylvia’s Restaurant which is located in the rich historical village of Harlem.

The food which was served at Sylvia’s Restaurant was delicious, and we enjoyed every bit of it. The damage was pretty decent!

Lastly, my OOTD in Harlem!
