[RWS] The Great Food Festival (TGFF) 2017

The Great Food Festival (TGFF) 2017 was divided into 3 main zones, the Heritage Lane, Rollin' Sweet Times and the Star Chef Arena. However, our passes only allowed us to visit the Rollin' Sweet Times which was held at the Compass Ballroom and the Heritage Lane which was located at the ground floor of Resorts World Sentosa (RWS).

Thanks Tracy for extending her invite to me to The Great Food Festival (TGFF) 2017. Nevertheless, we still have to thank Savour SG for the passes to check out on the awesome desserts!

We were there on the first day of the event, as it was held over a period of four days. Unfortunately, the first day had to be a weekday. Oh well, we made a trip down for the event after our work, and we managed to explore the whole exhibition in a day!

There were many interesting and insta-worthy desserts at the event. Most of the desserts were well created and truly a finished piece of artwork indeed!

We visited a 'GLOROOM' which showcased some desserts that glow in the dark! I could'nt help feeling that it was more akin to a haunted house instead!

Our moods were lifted up by the beautifully decorated cakes, as well as colorful ready made drinks by The Talad Drink.

The popular treats at Boufe Boutique Cafe.

I was attracted by the adorable and artistic cake pop creations. OMG! How could I ever bear to bite into these pretty cake pops?

Look at these super cute and colorful unicorn cupcakes by Crème Maison.

Everyone's favorite Mille Crepe Cakes by First Love Patisserie from Hokkaido, and Baby, listen up, I want to try it soon!

Our passes included SGD20 credits to spend on the dessert extravaganza, so we picked up a unicorn cake from Boufe Boutique Café. We hesitated to destroy it with our forks as it looked so beautiful.

However after tons of photos were taken, we ate it! OMG! It tasted as good as it looked. I love the soft milky texture and the centre-filling which consisted of refreshing mango. It was so yummy!

We used up the remaining credits on the Charcoal Egglet with Thai Milk Tea Ice-Creamand Fresh Strawberries from Chatuchak. The Thai milk tea ice-cream went pretty well with the charcoal egglet. It tasted good as a whole!

After a satisfying dessert treat, we went crazy taking photos with the quirky float props. I love floats generally and these floats just simply made my night even better after the delicious desserts.

Recently, I picked up a Unicorn float for myself during my recent Phuket trip! I can't wait to use it soon.

Thanks, Savour SG for the passes and of course a big hug to Tracy for asking me to join her to this sweet tooth lovers’ event! I look forward to the next edition of The Great Food Festival.
