[random] Dinner at Poké Lulu + Misc

Recently, Tracy and I attended the #freetobe Sephora event, and we were delighted to receive a gift bag as an appreciation from Sephora, for joining them at the event.
 

Thereafter we settled for a dinner at Poké Lulu, which is located at Orchard Central. The vibrant staple Hawaiian dish called Poké is getting more and more popular among foodies in Singapore, and one of the main reasons for this is that Singaporeans are leading a healthier lifestyle lately! Tracy made use of her Entertainer App, which allows us to obtain a 1-for-1 deal! We ordered a small bowl each.

 

Like many shops, you get to choose from either a rice or salad base, and from there, you can also pick from a choice of raw fish (salmon or tuna in original/wasabi mayo/spicy sauce), and other varieties of add-ons of superfoods!

Below was my Poké bowl with my self-picked ingredients that consisted of a serving of raw fish, 4 additional add-ons, and a choice of 1 type of ‘Superfood’!

The salmon was well marinated and the portion was quite generous. I also helped myself to the various complimentary sauces/dressings which are readily available at the self-help station. I found that this was worth paying for, especially with the 1-for-1 deal offer. Dining here is rather affordable and friendly to one's pockets!

It has been a hiatus for about a month since I last met up with Linda, so we decided to catch up with each other at Yoshinoya, HarbourFront. We had a long nice chat at the eatery place to catch up on our happenings lately. Thanks so much for the belated birthday gift! 

LOTD on a random Saturday!

I brought Mum V and Baby for a delightful weekend Dim Sum brunch at Asia Grand Restaurant.We ordered our usual favorite dim sum items, and they tasted good. OMG! The damage was hefty, as it cost me SGD90. 

 

 

Recently, I picked up some accessories from Lovisa from KL, as they had a promotion for 5 items at the price of RM60. (About 4 SGD per item)

Lastly, check out the ‘life-hack’ idea I was taught on keeping stud earrings! By using old and unwanted buttons, storage of stud earrings are as easy as A-B-C, and will prevent my collection from being lost!
