My Weekend Date-Out

I was at Capitol Piazza for dinner on a random weekday after work, and we settled ourselves at the So Good Char Chan Teng. This eatery is one of Baby’s favorites as it serves comfort HKG food fare. Their flagship store is located at TripleOne Somerset, and recently, they opened another outlet at Capitol Piazza. There is a queue as usual, but it is much shorter than the one at Triple One Somerset! We love the quality of the food, and the damage was pretty affordable.

There is an on-going exhibit of ‘Relive Food Heritage’ at the Capitol Singapore, Outdoor Plaza. They are celebrating Singapore’s food culture with an array of signature dishes, elevated with a local twist. 

I took many random photos with the life-sized décor inspired by local culture! They are so Insta-worthy, and if you like to add those in your Instagram, do head down to get your gram on! 

 We ended our Friday date with some beer and oysters at Katachi Sushi. 

The weather has been scorching lately, and what better way to beat the heat then to have a refreshing drink! Teafolia’s Mango Colada was delicious and refreshing! They also have a new Lychee range which would be an ideal treat for Mothers this Mother’s Day! 

 

Suni was with me for a workout session, and this was just what we truly enjoyed together as a reward! Do hop by Teafolia, if you are nearby the Aljunied area!

Thanks to ‘T’ who helped me to obtain a Passion Group VIP card from the Fu Lin Men Restaurant for my future dining indulgence! Therefore, I decided to bring my MIL to have a Sunday Dim Sum Brunch as a form of Mother’s Day celebration. 

 

The Fu Lin Men Restaurant is located at the Singapore Recreation Club (SRC), and they serve great dim sum items. We ended our meal with Seafood Yee Mian, as it represents longevity! Thanks Sharon, the restaurant manager for the complimentary dessert - Lemongrass with Lime Sherbet. The damage was SGD105 after membership’s discount.
