Brussels: According to the European Pharmaceuticals Association (EMA), cases of COV-19 subtype Omicron BA2 are on the rise across the European Union (EU) as member states deregulate.

“While many EU countries are lifting restrictions, we are seeing a recurrence of the infection rate in some member states. Omigron PA2 is in circulation, which seems to be more contagious than other types,” Xinhua news agency quoted Marco Cavalieri as saying. The head of the EMA’s strategy on biological health threats and vaccines, he told reporters here on Thursday.

The most important thing is how the increase in these cases emphasizes health systems. The EMA called on non-vaccinated citizens to work as soon as possible, emphasizing that five Govt-19 jobs are now recognized in the EU using different technologies.

“There is currently no evidence that immunity after vaccination is significantly different with Omicron BA2. Vaccines continue to provide high protection against hospitalization and death,” he said.

Vaccines manufactured by Pfizer / BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen and Novavax have received conditional marketing approval from EMA.

It is noteworthy that the World Health Organization recently warned countries to be vigilant against the Kovit-19 virus. Figures showing a global rise in Govt-19 cases could indicate a major problem as some countries report a drop in test rates, the WHO said on Tuesday.

More than a month after the crash, Govt-19 cases began to rise worldwide last week as the WHO says it is struggling to contain the outbreak of locks in Asia and China’s Jilin province.

The combination of factors leads to an increase, including the highly pervasive Omigron variant and its PA2 sublimation and enhancing public health and social activities, the WHO said.

“This increase is happening even though trials have been reduced in some countries, which means that the cases we see are only the tip of the iceberg,” WHO President Tetros Adanom Caprais told reporters.

Low vaccination rates in some countries are driven by “large amounts of misinformation”, which was explained by WHO officials. New infections worldwide increased by 8% compared to the previous week, with 11 million new cases and 43,000 new deaths reported between March 7-13. This is the first increase since the end of January.

The biggest improvement was in the WHO’s West Pacific region, which includes South Korea and China, where cases increased by 25% and deaths by 27%.

There has been a 12% increase in new cases and a 14% increase in deaths in Africa and a 2% increase in cases in Europe, but there has been no improvement in deaths. Cases have been reported to be declining in other regions, including the eastern Mediterranean, although there has been a 38% increase in deaths associated with previous increases in infections.

With cases rising in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom since early March, many experts have raised concerns that Europe is facing another corona virus wave.
