To ensure maximum selection rate of Quraysh youth in the upcoming recruitment rallies of the Armed Forces, the Indian Army has started pre-recruitment rally training for Qureshi youth from March 31 to March 2022.

A total of 153 youths have registered themselves for training and after deliberate review of documents, 54 applicants are being trained by Indian Army personnel for physical fitness and written exams.

The trainers who train the youth said that the enthusiasm and dedication of the selectors is extraordinary and they are working very hard to achieve their goal.

The initiative has been a source of hope for the youth of the Valley. Selecting youth in the Indian Army will not only provide financial stability for their entire family, but also strengthen the military and civilian bond throughout the entire Valley.

Mubashir Ahmed, a local youth, said, “We live in an area with heavy snowfall. Unemployment is high here. We hope the army conducts pre-recruitment training to help us find employment.

Many youths who could not register due to the closure of the Bandipora-Qureshi road and are interested in joining the training are now approaching the army for training. A second batch of training for them is scheduled for April.
