Australia’s McLanning and Alyssa Healy won by six wickets against India in the 2022 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in Auckland on Saturday.

Australia broke their own record for most successful chases in a Women’s World Cup match by chasing a target of 288 at Eden Park. Australia’s 258 against Sri Lanka in 2017 was the most successful chase in a World Cup match.

Australia, currently unbeaten in the 2022 World Cup, have now qualified for the semi-finals with 5 wins.

McLanning scored 97, while opener Alyssa Healy laid the foundation for Australia’s victory with 72 runs. The other Aussie opener, Rachel Haynes, scored 43, while Beth Mooney and Ellis Perry scored 30 * and 28, respectively.
