To mark the beginning of spring, Holi is a festival of colors, a symbol of the triumph of good over evil and evil.
Although Holi is a festival mainly of Hindus, it is also celebrated by other religions. It marks the arrival of the spring harvest season in the country. When chanting “Holy High” people celebrate the festival by splashing some lip-smacking sweets, ‘spines’ and colored powder, water and balloons.
